On July 19, the Government of Canada issued a news release announcing an easing of border restrictions for fully vaccinated travelers. American citizens and permanent residents, starting August 9, who have been fully vaccinated 14 days prior to crossing into Canada will be allowed entry. All travelers will be required to submit travel information and proof of vaccination via ArriveCAN (app or web) and have paper documentation ready for possible inspection.
