The NGBA logo was originally created from a drawing by Lorna Mierke (Beaverstone Bay) who took her inspiration from the windswept pines and granite rocks that characterize northern Georgian Bay. The image has been a feature on NGBA letterhead for years. We asked Andy Nairn (Beaverstone Bay), also an artist, to update Lorna’s work to help us create a new look for our website. The green-blue circle evokes the lands and waters of the region and represents the human and ecological communities the NGBA seeks to steward.
